Giving Back
Having had a successful consulting career for which he's extremely grateful, Tom believes it's important to give back to society. Current favorite non-profits include Habitat for Humanity, The Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and D-Rev.
Tom has also dedicated a substantial share of his time and his firm's resources over the past two years to helping recent college grads get jobs, and succeed in their first year on the job. Tom began this effort when, as an adjunct faculty member at a local university, he noticed that many of his extraordinary students were having a challenging time in the current job market. The website he has set up with free resources for upcoming grads is www.SuccessBeyondCollege.com. There is also an annual workshop that helps new grads build skills in the areas of: interviewing, networking, personal finance, and career acceleration.
